Hilco Merchant Resources partners with retailers to develop and execute in-store excess inventory sale events through Progressive Markdowns (“PMD”) designed to maximize sell-through and yield the highest returns on excess inventory within the stores and distribution centers. Hilco applies its discount micromanagement expertise, marketing and promotional experience, and execution capabilities which yield incrementally higher recoveries for excess, slow moving, or obsolete store inventory.   • Develop, implement and manage a PMD sale strategy designed to achieve the sell through and recovery goals of the sale.
  • Determine, create and procure all required communication, timelines, instruction manuals and supplies necessary for the sale.
  • Roll out the program in all participating stores on a mutually agreed upon timeline.
  • Provide qualified Hilco representatives to supervise and assist with all aspects of the program.
  • Assist and guide the stores with the initial setup, training and daily management of the sale.
  • Manage a comprehensive promotional merchandising, signing and pricing campaign in each of the participating stores.
  • Partner with company to develop and coordinate a multimedia marketing campaign throughout the term of the sale.
  • Analyze financial and operational results daily and make corresponding recommendations to adjust discounts, implementation and strategy weekly.
